Depoact is a modern bottle depot collection service designed for residential recycling.
Residents across Greater Montreal area can now recycle refundable beverage containers without visiting a depot. Simply schedule through our web application and our team will collect your empties directly from your home.
Once collected, your containers are sorted and counted by our processing team. Refund payments are typically issued to your account within a delay of 1-2 days.

Depoact pays 5 cents per recyclable beverage container, and no sorting is required. Just prepare a minimum of 150 containers for pickup, we handle everything else.
STEP 1 - How To Start

Our web application makes residential recycling simple and convenient. After creating your account, you can schedule pickups in only a few steps.
Select Your Address
Provide your contact details, pickup address, then book your first collection directly from your dashboard by clicking the Request button.
STEP 2 - Preparation
Sorting your containers is no longer necessary. With Depoact, all refundable beverage containers can be placed inside plastic transparent bags
Glass bottles may remain safely stored in their original cases — our team will collect those as well.
During pickup, our service team gathers your bags and transports them to our depot where sorting and counting are completed for you.

STEP 3 - Receiving Your Refund
After collection, containers are processed and digitally recorded at our depot facility. Processing times generally range between 1-3 business days.
Once processing is completed, your refund balance is added to your account. When your balance reaches $25 funds can be transferred directly to your bank account.

Is there a pickup service fee?
Yes. A service reduction of 5 cents per container applies to cover pickup and processing logistics.
Where is pickup available?
We currently service residential homes, condos, and businesses throughout:
- Greater Montreal
- Laval

- South Shore

What if I have more bags than expected?
Simply place additional bags with your scheduled pickup. Final container counts are confirmed at the depot. Orders cannot be edited after submission but may be cancelled if necessary to be re-entered with edited info.
What does preferred pickup date mean?
Your requested date represents your preferred collection time. Routes vary weekly, and adjustments may occasionally be required. Our team will contact you if scheduling changes occur.
Where should bags be placed?
Leave recylcing bags in a safe, accessible location and provide clear instructions during booking, including access details or alternate contact numbers if required.
What is the Minimum pickup quantity ?
A minimum of 150 refundable containers is required for pickup service.
When will I receive payment?
Processing typically takes 24-48 hours after collection, though higher volumes may extend timelines slightly. a minimum balance of $25 may be withdrawn via e-transfer processed within 1–2 business days.
How far in advance can I book?
May be scheduled up to 30 days ahead. Earliest availability is generally within two business days.
How do Condo and apartment pickups work ?
Condo pickups are supported provided driver access is available or customers meet drivers outside.
Do you pick-up on the weekends ?
Weekend pickups are not standard but may be arranged for special or high-volume requests by contacting support.
